Prayer is a natural and joyful part of life at St Joseph’s.
Our children experience a rich variety of prayer and liturgy, including:
whole-school Masses for instance on major feast days/Holy Days of Obligation;
class Masses in Key Stage 2;
the Rosary, particularly during October and May;
Stations of the Cross during Lent;
opportunities for stillness, reflection and personal prayer.
Our pupil Prayer Leaders and Chaplaincy Team play an important role in this. Our Year 6 pupils and class representatives help to lead prayer, model participation and encourage others to develop their own relationship with God.
