Salary: NJC Spine Point 2-5 (determined by candidate qualifications and experience)

Responsible to: Senior Leadership Team and class teachers 

Salary Grade Range: NJC Spine Point 2-5 (actual point dependent on skills and experience) 

Salary range according to above points £18,096.07-£18,963.54

Weekly working hours: 32.5 hours per week 

Daily working hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (6.5 working hours) Monday to Friday 

(with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break every day)

Weeks Worked: Term time only plus training on the first INSET day in the new academic year with a day off in lieu to be taken on the Trust INSET day (date to be announced each year).  Paid for 44 weeks per year.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring learning support assistant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We would like someone who:

• has successful experience working with children in a school environment;

• has experience in KS2;

• is well organised and has good organisational and ICT skills; 

• has the ability to motivate, encourage and inspire pupils; 

• is friendly, flexible, professional and resilient with the ability to remain calm under pressure; 

• has the ability to establish rapport and respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families and carers and other adults.
