Swimming: 

At St Joseph's, we have our own outdoor swimming pool.  

All pupils have the opportunity to participate every year in swimming lessons for 10 weeks during the summer term.  

Therefore by the end of Year 6, pupils are able to: swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres; use a range of different strokes effectively; and can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
